CAT known as (Common Admission Test) officially released its all notification about CAT 2012 year exam registration date, online exam date, result date and the exam conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) in India and admission to various management programmes of IIMs, Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
CAT 2012 Important Dates:
The number of testing days for CAT 2012 has been increased to 21 days within the window from 11 October to 6 November 2012.
CAT 2012 Voucher Sale – 30 July – 17 September 2012
CAT 2012 Registration Window – 30 July – 19 September 2012
CAT 2012 Test Dates – 11 October – 6 November 2012
CAT 2012 final Results at online – 9 January 2013
The CAT application vouchers available at selected Axis Bank branches in India from 30 July to 17 September 2012 and the CAT 2012 registration window will be open from 30 July to 19 September 2012.
CAT 2012 Eligibility criteria:
To take CAT 2012 exam, any Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA).

CAT 2012 Registration
To register to take the CAT 2012, go to www.catiim.in and check for online application of “Register for CAT 2012”. You can register and schedule for the CAT 2012 from 30 July – 19 September 2012.
CAT 2012 Test paper:
Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (Simple Aptitude online test)– 70 min to answer 30 questions
Second section is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (Take a Number series Reasoning Online Test) – 70 Min to answer 30 questions (Both has on-screen timer).
